What this litter mat doesn't do
- It reduces tracking, it doesn't eliminate it. Cats that leap out of the box will still carry some litter past the mat.
- It doesn't sift itself — you'll need to tilt-and-pour or give it a shake every so often to empty what it's trapped.
- Very damp, clumping litter can stick to the top layer instead of falling through as cleanly as dry litter.
- It's 24 × 15 in and sits in front of the box — it won't cover large boxes with a wide walk-out opening.
